Admission Overview

Admissions at IICTHM are conducted for Degree, Diploma, and Craft programmes in Catering Technology and Hotel Management. The institute emphasizes merit, aptitude, and career orientation while ensuring equal opportunities for students from rural and urban backgrounds.

The admission process includes counselling to guide students in selecting the right programme based on their educational qualifications, interests, and career goals.

Eligibility varies based on the programme chosen:

Undergraduate Degree Programmes (B.Sc.)
  • Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognized board
  • Students from Arts / Science / Commerce streams are eligible

Postgraduate Programme (M.Sc.)
  • Graduation in Hotel Management / Catering Technology / Hospitality or allied disciplines from a recognized university

Diploma Programmes
  • Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2)

Craft Courses
  • Pass in X / VIII Standard (as applicable to the course)

Basic proficiency in English and interest in hospitality services are preferred.

B.Sc. Programmes – 3 Years

M.Sc. Programme – 2 Years

Diploma Programmes – 1 Year

Craft Courses – 1 Year


Intake capacity is limited for each programme to ensure personalized training, effective practical sessions, and quality education.

The admission process at IICTHM is simple and student-oriented:
  • Obtain the application form from the institute or admission office
  • Fill in the application with accurate academic and personal details
  • Submit the completed application along with required documents
  • Attend admission counselling and programme orientation
  • Confirm admission upon selection and fee payment

Admissions are subject to institute norms and availability of seats.

Applicants must submit the following documents at the time of admission:
  • Filled-in application form
  • Copy of SSLC / X Standard mark sheet
  • Copy of Higher Secondary / XII Standard mark sheet (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Aadhaar Card copy or valid ID proof
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)

Original documents must be produced for verification.
